For many research topics, books will be an important part of your research. Use this search tool to find print and e-book copies of materials in the Library collections.
Can’t find the book you need? If TTU Libraries does not own the item you need, you may request it.
The Library Catalog contains books, ebooks, journals, magazines, newspapers, DVDs, audiobooks, music scores, images, maps, TTU dissertations and theses, and archival collections.
If you're searching for books, using the Library Catalog search is an easy way to limit the results.
Type your search words and click Library Catalog.
Type title, author, or subject keywords in the search box. Look for important information in the results list.
Already know what you're searching for? Customize your search on the Advanced Search menu.
OneSearch automatically shows results that include any record with your search keywords, regardless of where the word is located in the record. Use the drop-down menus below the text search box to narrow the results to a particular format type or to search by author, title, subject, and more.
Using Advanced Search gives you more control over your search. A simple search looks for your search keywords anywhere in the item record, but the Advanced Search allows you to specify where in the record to search for your keywords. Find the Advanced Search link to the right of the search box.
The Advanced Search contains two search text boxes. You can use one or both, combining them with AND, OR, NOT (Boolean operators) to expand and narrow the search. The drop down menus on the right give you additional options to narrow the search by date, material type, and language.
Browse Search allows you to search alphabetically by subject, author, title, or call number.
In the results list, click the entry to see the associated records.
