This guide has the purpose to provide a basic guideline in the different forms of citation and software for the TTU-CR students, faculty, and more.

Choosing a citation style

There can be many reasons why you should choose a citation style:

  • Ask your professor or TA which style is used for the course.
  • If you want to publish in a journal, see the author's guidelines. 
  • Use an international standard style.  
  • Use the style that best adapts to your major.
