Health and Safety Guidelines

The Texas Tech Libraries are working diligently to keep our patrons safe during the current pandemic. Use this page as a resource to understand what the Libraries are doing to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the Texas Tech Libraries. Check back regularly for updates as changes are made.

For the health and safety of all library patrons please follow the guidelines below:

  • Food or drink may be consumed in the Library as long as proper social distancing is maintained. Water fountains are turned off.
  • When using a public computer or study area, please use the green and red flip cards to indicate that the area needs to be cleaned.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds―especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
