GoPro HERO5 Session Quick Start Guide

Step 1.  Charge Battery

  1. Open the door on the side of camera.
  2. Use the included USB cable to connect camera to an USB port or wall charger.

The camera status lights turn on during charging and turn off when charging is complete.

Step 2.  Insert Memory card into Camera

  1. Insert the card at a downward angle with the label facing down.

Step 3.  Record Video

  1. With the camera powered off, press the Shutter button [Shutter button symbol].

Your camera powers on, beeps several times, and begins recording.

  1. To stop recording, press the Shutter button [Shutter button symbol] again.

The camera stops recording, beeps several times, and automatically powers off to maximize battery life.

Step 4.  Copy Videos to a Computer

  1. Connect the camera to your computer using the included USB cable.
  2. Press the Shutter button [Shutter button symbol] to power the camera on.
  3. Use the computer to open the camera folder and copy the file(s) to the computer.

Step 5.  Delete Video

  1. Press the Menu button repeatedly to move to Delete [Delete symbol], then press the Shutter button [Shutter button symbol] to select.
