Academic Search Complete This link opens in a new window
Absolutely the best database for beginning searchers! Full-text, user friendly, and contains a wide variety of useful information. Contains many scholarly and peer reviewed articles.
JSTOR This link opens in a new window
Excellent database for the Humanities and Social Sciences. Some articles in the database go back to the late 19th century. There is however, a rolling block on the most recent five years of articles.

Excellent database for business periodicals and newspapers.
Scopus This link opens in a new window
Good general database and excellent science database.
