Who is Affected by Autism?


According to the Centers for Disease Control-Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) page:

  • 1 in 68 children have been diagnosed with ASD
  • ASD is about 4.5 times more commonly diagnosed in boys than girls
  • ASD occurs in all races, socioeconomic groups, and ethnic groups

Looking for Electronic Children's Books?


The University Libraries offers Ebook Collection (EBSCO).  This collection can be access from the main TTU Libraries website. You will need to scroll down past the main Onesearch box. You will see a section entitled: Find Articles. You will need to click on the Databases A-Z.  You will need to type in eBook Collection (EBSCO). You will be taken to the main interface of the database. On the left hand side of the screen, you will see a section to Browse By Category. You will browse by Children and Young Adult Fiction and Non-Fiction. You can also search by title within the main search box. Please refer to the screenshots for more information.  You can access to the database off campus using your Eraider Information.
