The National Centers for Environmental Information, or NCEI, has a webpage where you can search for storm events by state, county, event type/size, number of injuries/fatalities and/or amount of property/crop damage. Search the NCEI Storm Event database to find various types of storms recorded in your county or use other selection criteria as desired.

The Storm Events Database contains the records used to create the official NOAA Storm Data publication, documenting: (a) The occurrence of storms and other significant weather phenomena having sufficient intensity to cause loss of life, injuries, significant property damage, and/or disruption to commerce; (b) Rare, unusual, weather phenomena that generate media attention, such as snow flurries; and (c) Other significant meteorological events, such as record maximum or minimum temperatures or precipitation that occur in connection with another event.
