APIS is a "virtual library," created and maintained by the University of Michigan and other universities to provide online access to papyrological collections. Users are able to view digital images and detailed catalog records containing information on papyrus characteristics, corrections to published papyri, and republications.

The Humanities Text Initiative intends to develop the Corpus of Middle English Prose and Verse into an extensive and reliable collection of Middle English electronic texts, either by converting the texts ourselves or by negotiating access to other collections produced to specified high standards of accuracy. At present, sixty-two texts are available; about eighty others will be added soon, with another 150 smaller texts in preparation.
18thConnect gathers together information about and links to the best primary and secondary texts in 18th Century studies that are available in digital form, either freely available on the Web or available by subscription.
