Citation Styles for Engineers

Many of your professors may ask you to use APA style guide. Our personal librarian to the College of Education has made an excellent guide and you can find it here. There are also some examples of APA citation style below.

However, you may be asked to use a more formal engineering styles. APA is great for sciences, but sometimes journals or professors prefer that you use a particular citation format that was developed specifically by them in order to get the kinds of information that they would look for if they needed to be able to easily find the information that has been cited.
