Helpful Search Terms & Tips

Find books and other resources in Communication Studies.

These subject heading phrases work in Library Search and also in many databases which have a thesaurus function which can help you find similar terms. Remember to sort your library catalog results by 'publication date newest' to display the most recent items.

Use  terms, such as these, in context of what you are searching within your area of research. For example: Generation X AND social media.

Use AND, OR, or NOT to limit results to include specific geographic areas, years, or other demographic.
